Ticketmaster's president has confirmed "stuck transfers" following a ticket delivery failure last Friday, drawing fresh criticism over the company's reliability. A separate report cited the outage as evidence the risk that comes with placing all trust in one ticketing service.
The trouble comes as a reseller listing a Bruno Mars ticket said she was taken by surprise by the fees Ticketmaster stacked above her listed price. Rival SeatGeek, meanwhile, launched TourIQ, a predictive pricing tool aimed at live event sellers, presenting itself as a competitor at a time when faith in Ticketmaster is slipping.
